North County Aikikai is a school dedicated to teaching the art of Aikido  
as passed on by its founder, Morihei Ueshiba, and his direct disciple, 
T.K. Chiba, Shihan.  Both its ambience and training are deeply rooted
in traditional Japanese culture and etiquette.  Coryl Crane Shihan, is
North County Aikikai's founder and chief instructor. 

North County Aikikai is a member of Birankai North America, an association of Aikido dojos founded by T.K. Chiba Shihan.  Our body of Aikido practitioners is committed to the pursuit of the art; forged by rigorous training and tempered by mutual respect.

We work to maintain a healthy, stable community which preserves the  technical and ethical principles of O'Sensei-- transmitted through Chiba Shihan--and to carry on this tradition to future generations.        

Through Birankai, North County Aikikai is affiliated with the Aikikai Foundation,   Tokyo, Japan.
